Visual art is my most constant and fickle lover: here today, gone tomorrow, and knocking on my door at 2am. If you want stories, check out my blog. Otherwise, there is nothing much more to say than that except to explain what it is that you're looking at here in the gallery.

• Scratchboard
Scratchboard is a medium that was created in the 1950s as a cheaper alternative to the more traditional metal etching. Scratchboard, however, cannot be reproduced - it is a one of a kind original. Practitioners work in reverse: scratching away the top layer of black India ink to reveal snowy white soft clay. Typically it is a teaching tool to familiarize students with various shading techniques. I was one of those students. The pieces you see here are not my adolescent fare.

• Photography
My heirloom is a 35mm Nikon SLR. My baby is a Nikon D80. My ragdoll is a Canon Powershot. There is also the camera on my phone. What more pictures? Check out flickr.

• Jewelry
I work primarily with vintage glass, stone, pearls, and semi-precious and precious stones. All of my metals are silver, gold-filled, gold, or niobium. If I have any pieces available, they are for sale on my Etsy store.

This portfolio showcases some of my pieces.
P.S. I do take commissions. Shoot me an email.
